[BUG] Claude Pro gift not applying – “Gift already redeemed” + Paid invoice but account stuck on Free plan

What's Wrong?

Claude Pro gift subscription was successfully redeemed and invoice shows as Paid, but the account is permanently stuck on Free plan.

  • Receipt: 2892-6172-3806
  • Invoice: N5PFNGHQ-0001
  • Gift code: 837a9917-a455-4fb6-abb1-ec8e5084d4bf (shows “Gift already redeemed”)
  • Period: April 10 – May 10, 2026

Tried all troubleshooting: full logouts, cookie/site data clear, incognito, different browsers, mobile app — still Free everywhere.

This started after the mid-April Partial Outage. Fin AI Agent confirms the facts but cannot escalate or manually activate. This matches many similar reports (#48231, #47284, #45335, #46378 etc.).

What Should Happen?

The account should be upgraded to Pro plan for the full gifted period (until May 10, 2026) immediately after successful redemption and paid invoice.
