Max Plan Gift Subscription Silently Downgraded to Free After 4 Days — Support Unresponsive for 8+ Days
What's Wrong?
Max Plan (x20) gift subscription was redeemed on April 5, 2026. The redemption page confirmed success, and the account showed Max plan for approximately 4 days. After that, the account was silently downgraded to Free with no notification, no refund to the gifter, and no explanation.
All 3 support tickets submitted have received only automated AI bot responses — no human agent has responded in 8+ days.

Submitted tickets 215473833968703 and 215473835508297 on Apr 9 — received only AI bot responses
8+ days passed with no human agent response

Additional Information
This is primarily a subscription/billing and support escalation issue, not a Claude Code CLI bug. However, it is filed here as this repo appears to be the most active channel for reaching the Anthropic team.
The gifter confirms no refund, no chargeback, and no cancellation was initiated. The downgrade was unilateral and unexplained.
