[BUG] Claude Pro gift subscription downgraded to Free after 18 days

What's Wrong?

I redeemed a Claude Max 5x gift subscription on March 30, 2026.
The redemption was confirmed successful. I had full Max access for
approximately 18 days. Around April 18, 2026, my account was
silently downgraded to the Free plan — with no email notification,
no warning, and no action on my part.

Unlike some related reports where Billing still shows Max as active,
in my case both Settings → Account and Settings → Billing show Free plan.
The subscription has fully disappeared from my account.

Expected Behavior

Account should remain on Claude Max 5x for the full gift duration
(until approximately April 30, 2026).

Account shows Free plan everywhere — both in Account settings and
Billing. All Max features are inaccessible. No active subscription visible.

What Should Happen?

Max 5x plan should be restored for the full remaining gift duration.
Approximately 12 days of paid access ($~40 value) have been lost
with no resolution path through current support channels.

Please have someone on the backend team verify the gift redemption
status and manually restore the Max plan entitlement for this account.

  2. Redeem on claude.ai (web) — redemption confirmed
