What's Wrong?

I redeemed a Claude Pro gift subscription on April 10, 2026. The redemption was confirmed successful. I had full Pro access for approximately 2 weeks. Around April 25, 2026, my account was silently downgraded to the Free plan — with no email notification, no warning, and no action on my part.

Account details:

  • Email: kurganskyi.a@gmail.com
  • Invoice number: NOCQTCBM-0003
  • Receipt number: 2256-2973-9364
  • Gift period: April 10 – May 10, 2026
  • Support conversation ID: 215474057791726

Current state:

  • Settings → Billing shows: Free plan
  • All Pro features are inaccessible
  • Invoice confirms paid status ($0.00, gift subscription)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Redeem a Claude Pro gift subscription on claude.ai (web)
  2. Use Pro features normally for approximately 2 weeks
  3. Account is automatically downgraded to Free plan without any user action

Expected Behavior

Pro plan should remain active for the full gift duration — until May 10, 2026.

Actual Behavior

Account shows Free plan. All Pro features are inaccessible. No notification was sent.

Troubleshooting Already Attempted

  • Logged out of all devices and logged back in
  • Cleared browser cache
  • Tried incognito mode
  • Checked billing settings — no active subscription visible

None of these resolved the issue.
