[BUG] Max 20x gift subscription auto-canceled after 3 days — account reverted to Free plan

What's Wrong?

I redeemed a Claude Max 20x gift subscription on April 10, 2026 (1 month). It should be active until May 10, 2026. On April 13, the subscription disappeared completely with no action on my part — account reverted to Free plan.

This matches the pattern reported in issues #45335, #31012, and #20363 — gift subscriptions being silently canceled after a few days due to a backend/Stripe billing bug.

Expected behavior: Max 20x subscription active until May 10, 2026.
Actual behavior: Account shows Free plan since April 13.

What Should Happen?

Max 20x subscription should remain active until May 10, 2026 (1 month after redemption on April 10, 2026).

Settings → Billing: no active subscription
