[BUG] Gift Pro subscription (12 months) auto-deactivated after 5 weeks — support closing tickets without resolution

What's Wrong?

I redeemed a Claude Pro Gift - 12 Months subscription on March 5, 2026. It should remain active until March 5, 2027. On April 13, 2026 (~5 weeks later), my account was silently downgraded to the Free plan with no warning, no email, and no action on my part (Invoice number BLP1PIFD-0002
Receipt number 2329-4677-7570)

What Should Happen?

Gift subscription should remain active for the full 12 months from redemption date

Error Messages/Logs

Account shows Free plan. All Pro features are inaccessible.

## Support Interaction
Multiple support tickets submitted via chat and email (support@anthropic.com). All conversations were **closed by support without resolution**, with only automated responses from Fin AI Agent. The bot acknowledged this is a backend issue but stated it cannot perform account modifications.
