What's Wrong?
Issue: The app launches but is stuck on a completely grey/blank screen and never renders.
My setup:
- MacBook Pro 14-inch, November 2024
- Chip: Apple M4 Pro
- macOS: Sequoia 15.7.4
Troubleshooting I've already tried:
- Force quit and relaunch
- Cleared all cache folders (~/Library/Application Support/Claude, ~/Library/Caches/Claude)
- Full uninstall and clean reinstall
- Checked Privacy & Security settings — no blocks found
- Launched via Terminal: /Applications/Claude.app/Contents/MacOS/Claude
- Launched with --disable-gpu flag, which returned this error:
"Error: GPU access not allowed. Reason: GPU access is disabled through command line switch --disable-gpu and --disable-software-rasterizer."
- Reset app permissions via Terminal: tccutil reset All com.anthropic.claudefordesktop
None of the above resolved the issue.
I also have NO console app logs...
The app was previously working and stopped rendering randomly.
Could you please help me get this resolved?
