Triage: kind cyber · domain general · flagging model Opus 4.8 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The automated safety block halted an active refactoring session for an open-source managed service provider codebase when the user sent a frustrated exclamation mid-session. The session involved gathering source constants, struct fields, and database package definitions for a software rebuild without malicious intent or targeted individuals. Terminating an entire session over a non-targeted exclamation during software refactoring creates a false positive that interrupts legitimate development work.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-09-02T04:52:00.924Z.

In-scope justification

False positive — in-scope, authorized security work; not out of scope. Filed automatically by claudit.
