[Bug][aup] Safety block halted legitimate IT admin task triage over a user's frustrated exclamation (req_011CcccoGoU6vnNcLBebQPZN)
Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below
Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general
Why this is a false positive
The safety classifier halted the session on a routine IT systems-administration exchange—a status list of open helpdesk-style tasks (login/profile performance, email signature repair, a storage-profile migration, and thin-client stability) plus ordinary troubleshooting discussion. None of this content violates the AUP; it is standard, authorized endpoint and directory administration work with no harmful intent, targeting, or disallowed subject matter. Blocking a benign task-tracking message is a clear false positive, and terminating the whole coding session over it is a disproportionate and disruptive failure mode.
A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred 1× across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T04:42:25.718Z.
