[Bug][aup] Safeguard blocked a frustrated exclamation while building a bot-resistant signup modal (req_011Cccbnk2RyJqX8XrXadtAu)

Triage: kind aup · domain crypto-secrets · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): crypto-secrets

Why this is a false positive

The block fired mid-session on a routine web-development request to build a non-gated account signup modal with modern anti-bot protections, work that is squarely legitimate and in scope. Nothing in the message or the surrounding session involves prohibited activity — the conversation was ordinary UI implementation and deployment work — yet the safeguard halted the entire coding session. This appears to be an over-broad trigger on standard security/anti-abuse terminology, and the resulting hard stop is a disruptive false positive.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T04:29:18.253Z.
