[BUG] Scrollback History after compacting CTRL+R and CTRL+E blank screen unresponsive

What's Wrong?

After the auto-compact event, after hitting the 5-hour limit, pressing CTRL+R and then CTRL+E the screen is blank and no input is processed.
After a while it crashed with "heap limit Allocation failed"

What Should Happen?

Have it show the content or let the user navigate back.
