[Bug][aup] Frustrated exclamation blocks committing completed SQL parameterization hardening (req_011CccMjb8Re5r8tHPkcsFVb)

Triage: kind aup · domain defensive-hardening · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): defensive-hardening

Why this is a false positive

The safety filter halted an active defensive-hardening coding session — parameterizing database queries and running the project's build and test suite — after it flagged a frustrated exclamation the user directed at the assistant following repeated prior blocks in the same session. No person was addressed and the message contained no request for harmful content; it was venting about the tool's behavior mid-task. The block prevented Claude Code from completing routine, legitimate engineering work (a git commit of verified security hardening), making this a disruptive false positive on in-scope activity.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T01:24:50.336Z.

Block message

API Error: Fable 5's safeguards flagged this message (https://www.anthropic.com/legal/aup). They may flag safe, normal content as well. These measures let us bring you Mythos-level capabilities sooner, and we're working to refine them. Claude Code can't respond to this request with Fable 5.
