Problem Statement

Currently, voice dictation in Claude only supports English and a limited set of languages. As a Hungarian speaker, I cannot use voice input in my native language, which limits my ability to use the application efficiently. Adding Hungarian language support would make Claude accessible to Hungarian-speaking users.

Proposed Solution

Implement Hungarian language support for the speech-to-text engine in the voice dictation feature. This would allow Hungarian speakers to dictate in their native language, similar to how other supported languages currently function in the application.

Use Case Example

As a head of robotics at a Hungarian tech company, I frequently need to document code, write technical specifications, and communicate with my team in Hungarian. Using voice dictation in my native language would significantly speed up my workflow and reduce cognitive load when switching between languages, allowing me to focus on complex technical problems rather than language translation.

Additional Context

Voice dictation is increasingly important for productivity, and many Claude users around the world rely on it in their native languages. Adding Hungarian would make Claude Desktop more inclusive and competitive with other AI tools that already support multilingual voice input.
