Problem Statement

I started using the Claude desktop app, especially because of the semi-integrated dictation feature (it sucks in native macOS). I have to dictate messages in English, Portuguese, Italian, French, and Spanish to my clients all over the world. I would like to suggest how it can be improved.

Proposed Solution

1) Persona mode for custom vocabulary and abbreviations in domain-specific contexts. 2) Voice mode with Persona in other languages besides English. In the ChatGPT Whisper model, I can dictate in any language, and it works very well. 3) In languages like French, Italian or Spanish, you can refer to someone as tu (informal) or vous/Lei (formal). Sometimes I dictate a message in English and then use a keyboard shortcut to use Apple Intelligence to translate to French/Italian/Spanish. Currently, there are two major limitations. First, it doesn't apply language-domain vocabulary (described in #1) and it always defaults to formal (vous/Lei) pronouns. So it would be nice if Claude dictation could offer that level of customization.
