[BUG] Failed to Load Session

What's Wrong?

Any prompt at all in the Claude Code tab of Claude Desktop returns Failed to Load Session. I've tried deleting session cache files, logging out and back in, uninstalling and reinstalling Claude and Git. The CLI works fine.

What Should Happen?

Claude Desktop should be capable of working with code just as the CLI does

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Claude Desktop
2. Select the Code tab
3. Browse to a folder of source code (eg C:/ReallySimpleFolderOfCode)
4. Prompt : Summarize the code
