What's Wrong?

Symptom: Worktree button is grayed out with tooltip "worktree requires git repository"
Environment: macOS, valid git repo with existing worktrees
Verified: git worktree list, git status, and git worktree prune all work correctly

What Should Happen?

The use worktree option should light up blue to automatically create a worktree

Error Messages/Logs

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Claude Code
  2. Initiate a new session
  3. Select the folder
  4. Attempt selecting the use worktree button but it is grayed out

Github is enabled in settings. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting. Had had success in the past with worktrees self-generating automatically without any issue until now for no apparent reason.
