Code tab missing from Claude Desktop app (Windows, Pro plan)

What's Wrong?

Plan: Pro
OS: Windows (build 10.0.26200)
CLI version installed separately: 2.1.269 (Claude Code) — confirmed via claude --version
Desktop app version: unable to locate — no visible menu bar (Help/About)
in the app window; tried Alt key to reveal hidden menu bar, no result

What's wrong:
The "Code" tab, previously visible in the Claude Desktop app, no longer
appears. Only "Chat" is visible in the app window. This started recently
(previously worked).

Steps already tried:

• Fully restarted the app (quit and reopen)
• Confirmed Pro plan is active
• Installed the CLI separately as a workaround — CLI works fine

Expected: Code tab should be visible in the app, as it was before.
Actual: Only Chat tab appears.

What Should Happen?

Steps to Reproduce

1. Abrir la app de escritorio de Claude en Windows.
2. Iniciar sesión con cuenta Pro.
3. Observar la ventana principal: solo aparece el tab "Chat".
4. El tab "Code" no está visible, aunque antes sí aparecía.
5. Reiniciar la app completamente (cerrar y volver a abrir).
6. El tab "Code" sigue sin aparecer.

Como workaround, instalé la CLI de Claude Code por separado
(via PowerShell) y funciona correctamente ahí.
