[BUG] Cowork tab missing on Windows 11 Pro - only Chat and Code tabs visible

What's Wrong?

The Cowork tab does not appear in Claude Desktop on Windows 11 Pro.
Only "Chat" and "Code" tabs are visible.

Steps already taken:

• Uninstalled and reinstalled Claude Desktop (latest version)
• Enabled Hyper-V via PowerShell (Enable-WindowsOptionalFeature)
• Confirmed Hyper-V State: Enabled
• Confirmed CoworkVMService Status: Running
• Restarted PC multiple times
• Virtualization is enabled in BIOS (confirmed via Task Manager)

Expected behavior: Cowork tab should appear next to Chat and Code.
Actual behavior: Only Chat and Code tabs are visible. Cowork tab never appears.

System info:

• OS: Windows 11 Pro
• Claude Desktop: latest version
• CoworkVMService: Running
• Hyper-V: Enabled
• Subscription: Paid plan

What Should Happen?

The Cowork tab should appear in Claude Desktop next to Chat and Code tabs.

Error Messages/Logs

No error message displayed. The Cowork tab is simply absent from the interface.
CoworkVMService status: Running
Hyper-V state: Enabled

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install Claude Desktop latest version on Windows 11 Pro
2. Log in with a paid account
3. Open Claude Desktop
4. Observe that only Chat and Code tabs are visible
5. Cowork tab never appears

• Hyper-V enabled
• CoworkVMService running
• Paid subscription active
• Latest version installed
