[BUG] [BUG] "Code" tab missing entirely from Claude Desktop app (macOS, Pro plan)

What's Wrong?

The "Code" tab is completely missing from the Claude Desktop app (macOS, Pro plan). Only "Chat" and "Cowork" tabs appear — this is not a click error, the Code tab button itself does not exist in the UI.

Tried (no change): fully quitting/restarting the app, signing out and back in, and a full uninstall + Mac reboot + reinstall from claude.ai/download.

Verified via claude.ai (browser, same account) that the Pro subscription is active, the same account is signed in on Desktop, and Settings → Claude Code shows/works normally. Claude Code CLI also works fine on the same account/machine, so this looks like a Desktop-app-specific display/feature-flag bug rather than an account issue.

What Should Happen?

The "Code" tab should appear alongside "Chat" and "Cowork" in the Claude Desktop app, since the account is on a Pro plan (which includes Claude Code access) and Claude Code works correctly via the CLI on the same machine/account.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install/update the Claude Desktop app on macOS to the latest version and sign in with a Pro plan account.
2. Open the app and look at the top tab bar.
3. Observe that only "Chat" and "Cowork" tabs are shown — there is no "Code" tab to click.

Already tried without success:

• Fully quit and restart the app
• Sign out and sign back in
• Full uninstall → reboot the Mac → reinstall the latest version from claude.ai/download
