Group by PR status removed from Code tab sidebar (macOS desktop app, v1.21459.3)

Summary

The Code tab session sidebar in the Claude Desktop app for macOS used to offer a "Group by PR status" option. After updating/restarting the app today, that option is gone — the Group by control now only offers State.

What changed

Until a couple of days ago I could group my Working sessions by the status of each session's associated pull request. After restarting the app today on the version above, that grouping option is no longer available.

The popover currently exposes:

• Status (filter)
• Project (filter)
• Environment (filter)
• Last activity (filter)
• Group by → only State
• Sort by → Recency

Expected

Group by should still include a PR status option (grouping sessions by the state of their linked PR — e.g. checks waiting/failed, checks passed, merged, draft/closed), as it did in recent prior builds.

Actual

Group by only offers State. There is no way to group sessions by PR status.

Notes

• This appears to have regressed within the last few days — it was present before, and is gone as of the 2026-07-16 build.
• There's prior precedent for sidebar groupings silently disappearing (e.g. #58193, #53340), so this may be an unintended regression rather than an intentional removal.
