What's Wrong?

What's wrong?
After the latest Claude Desktop update, the sessions sidebar can no longer be grouped by project/folder.
The "Group by" menu now offers only: None, Status, Date, Environment.
"Show" offers only: Metadata, Empty groups.

Previously, "Group by → Project" grouped sessions automatically by their working directory. That option is gone, and there is no project filter either.

"Environment" doesn't replace it: all local sessions land in one group, so sessions from different folders are mixed together. The "New section" option requires sorting every session manually, and new sessions don't land in the right group on their own.

Is this a regression?
Yes, this worked in a previous version.

What Should Happen?

Restore "Group by → Project" (automatic grouping by working directory), or at least add a filter by project/folder.
