What's Wrong?

After the Oct 14, 2026 update, the Code tab sidebar’s “Group by” menu only offers None, Status, Date and Environment. The Project option is gone. All sessions from all projects are now mixed into one list, which makes the sidebar unusable for anyone working across multiple repositories.

Also, right after the update every session showed “Session not found on disk” until a Windows reboot.

Claude Code version: 2.1.299
OS: Windows 11

What Should Happen?

Restore “Group by → Project” in the Code tab sidebar.
