[Bug][aup] Safety filter halts mid-task while cache-busting and rewriting web asset files after a frustrated e (req_011Cccf7c7oh6XcR544esQqo)

Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The safety filter fired on a frustrated exclamation the user directed at the assistant mid-session, after a series of tool glitches during routine web asset work; no person was addressed or targeted, and the exclamation contained no threat, harassment, or policy-violating content. The surrounding conversation was ordinary, in-scope engineering (upgrading site assets and cache-busting icon references), so there is no unsafe request for the model to decline. Halting an entire coding session over an offhand vent is a disruptive false positive that penalizes normal human frustration rather than any actual misuse.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-02T05:12:48.916Z.
