[BUG] Max 5x Plan ($100) incorrectly showing as Free despite active subscription — June 27, 2026

What's Wrong?
I know it’s uncommon to post billing/account issues here, but I’m doing so because the standard support channel’s “Send a message” button has disappeared, leaving me no other urgent path. My Claude Max 5x subscription ($100/month) is incorrectly displaying as a Free plan on my account dashboard despite a successful payment of $91.28 on June 13, 2026 (billing details on file with Anthropic support team). There are no overdue invoices, no failed payments, and I am signed into the correct account email. Anthropic support has acknowledged this as a backend synchronization issue but provided no timeline for resolution.
What Should Happen?
My account dashboard should correctly display an active Max 5x plan valid through July 13, 2026, with full 5x usage limits unlocked. No downgrade to Free should have occurred as there were no payment failures, cancellations, or account changes on my end.
Error Messages/Logs
No error message displayed. Account silently shows "Free plan" with no notification or warning.
Steps to Reproduce
- Log into claude.ai with account email
- Navigate to Settings → Account
- Observe plan status — incorrectly displays "Free plan" with "Upgrade plan" button
- Navigate to Settings → Billing
- Invoice dated June 13, 2026 for $91.28 shows status "Paid" (Max 5x, Jun 13–Jul 13, 2026)
- Despite confirmed payment, account continues to show Free plan with no Max 5x access
