[Bug][harness] Soft-block halted assigning an already-owned Business Premium seat to onboard a user pre-mainte

Resolved 💬 1 comment Opened Jun 25, 2026 by sworrl Closed Jun 26, 2026

Type: Claude Code harness / auto-mode classifier denial · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

Assigning a paid software license is a real financial transaction and permission grant, so a soft block on it is correct by default — but in this case the user gave explicit, specific authorization to assign the license in question, which clears the block. The flagged phrase ("get this finished") was not the authorizing instruction; it followed an earlier, concrete directive identifying the exact license, the seat availability, and the intended recipient as the agreed next step. This is in-scope administrative work the operator directly approved, not an unprompted or speculative transaction, making the block a false positive.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code.

In-scope justification

False positive — in-scope, authorized security work; not out of scope. Filed automatically by claudit.

Block message

Assigning a paid M365 license is a real-world financial transaction and permission grant; the user never specifically authorized assigning an SPB license to any user — "get this finished" is too vague to clear this soft block.
