[URGENT / BLOCKER] Paid Max 5x silently downgraded to Free - Entitlement Mismatch (#110868846)

What's Wrong?

⚠️ CRITICAL PLATFORM WARNING: This is a systemic vulnerability. ANY paying user (Pro/Max) is currently at risk of having their paid subscriptions silently revoked at any moment without warning, paralyzing their entire workflow.

I paid $110 for the Max 5x subscription on June 7, 2026, valid until July 7, 2026 (Receipt: 2454-7901-3561). The subscription was activated and worked correctly for about 12 days. However, on June 19, my account was silently reverted to the Free plan without any cancellation email or action on my part.

This sudden and unhandled state change has severely paralyzed my backend development workflow. It also caused a critical failure during a major business presentation due to unexpected Sonnet usage limits. Fin AI Agent officially acknowledged in Ticket #110868846 that this is a system error, but no human engineer has intervened yet.

What Should Happen?

The Max 5x subscription must remain active and fully accessible for the entire paid billing cycle (June 7 – July 7, 2026). The system needs an immediate manual override to resync the Stripe billing state with the Anthropic account entitlement state so I can regain access to the Max 5x tier. Furthermore, a permanent patch is required to stop the system from randomly revoking user access mid-cycle.

Error Messages/Logs

No explicit UI error message is displayed. The account silently reverted to the Free plan. The billing page shows the $110 invoice as "Paid", but the plan indicates "Free". This is a backend synchronization/entitlement failure between the billing processor and the user permission database.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Pay $110 for a Max 5x subscription (June 7, 2026).
  2. Use the account normally for approximately 12 days.
  3. System arbitrarily revokes Max 5x entitlement without user action or failed payment around June 19.
  4. Account is downgraded to Free plan, but the invoice remains fully paid.
