[BUG] Urgent: Abnormal Token Consumption and Session Issue in Claude Code

What's Wrong?

I am reporting a critical issue where my token usage spiked to 100% while the session was completely inactive.

Details:

My usage was around 20% before I closed the session.

I terminated the claude CLI process and did not use it for several hours.

Upon reconnecting, I received a message that 100% of my session quota was exhausted.

This issue is causing significant disruption to my development workflow.

Requests:

Investigation: Please investigate why the token usage increased while the session was idle.

Compensation/Resolution: As this is an unprovoked consumption of my usage quota due to a system bug, I request a reset or an adjustment to my current usage limit.

Urgency: I have lost hours of productive work time due to this incident. Please advise on how to prevent this in the future, as I cannot continue my development with this reliability issue.
