[FEATURE] Phone interact with Claude for Windows

Problem Statement

It was difficult to setup, but finally have Claude CLI in Powershell interacting with Claude for Android on my phone, as far as I can tell Claude for Windows will not interact with my phone— having the Claude for Windows desktop app support the same phone integration as the CLI would be a natural feature. No reason users should have to install Node.js and use npx to get push notifications on their phone.

Claude's recommendation: You could submit that as a feature request at [github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues](https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues) — that's where the team tracks feedback. Mentioning the gap between the CLI and desktop app experiences would be helpful context.

For future convenience, you can launch the CLI anytime with:

npx @anthropic-ai/claude-code

Summary of what we set up today:

• Installed Node.js v24.16.0
• Installed Claude Code CLI v2.1.173
• Connected your phone via push notifications through the CLI
• Claude for Windows desktop app is still installed and untouched

Proposed Solution

With Claude CLI and Claude for Android I can bounce back and forth between the devices. I would like for the Claude for Windows to be identical. I have tried and had Claude try many times to set up with Claude for Windows to interact with Claude for Androiid and it is not possible.

Alternative Solutions

CLI works, but I much prefer Claude for Windows.

I am working on a long project that will take months, if I could keep interacting with Claude via my phone then my response time would be quicker and more consistent. I need to interact with Claude using screen shots, code, folder access... these things don't function as well thru CLI
