What's Wrong?

Hi,

Dispatch from my phone permanently fails with "Can't reach your desktop. Check that computer is online and the desktop app is open," even though the Windows desktop app is open and online.

Key facts:

  • Cowork works normally on the same desktop at the same time — so the desktop app is online and connected to your servers. Only Dispatch fails.
  • No VPN is active (Proton VPN installed but signed out/disconnected).
  • Avast firewall shows the Claude app Active with ~2 GB of traffic and 0 blocked apps.

I have already tried, without success:

  • Toggling Dispatch off, refreshing the app (Ctrl+R), toggling it back on
  • Signing out on both devices, then signing in on desktop first, then phone
  • Restarting both apps and the standard Help Center steps

This matches the known issue class in GitHub issues anthropics/claude-code #46391, #49545, and #45937, where the Dispatch pairing state is stuck server-side and no local troubleshooting can fix it.

Could you please force-reset the Dispatch pairing/desktop registration for my account, or tell me what client-side action will trigger a re-registration?

What Should Happen?

Dispatch should be able to connect without issue.
