[BUG] Dispatch permanently “Can’t reach your desktop” — main thread stuck, Cowork works, Windows

What's Wrong?

Dispatch on mobile shows “Can’t reach your desktop. Check that your computer is online and desktop app is open.” Desktop app is open, computer online, on wifi. Phone status shows “Asleep.”

On the desktop itself, the main Dispatch thread also does not respond. I typed “test” twice — no reply, though it shows “Read.” So the desktop cannot reach its own Dispatch thread.

Environment: Windows. Pro/Max plan. Both apps latest version.

Already tried, all failed: full computer restart, fully quit and reopened Desktop app, toggled Dispatch off/on with refresh, confirmed online and keep-awake on.

Same class as #45937, #67303, #49545, #44225 — main Dispatch thread stuck server-side, no local fix works.

Request: please force-reset my Dispatch pairing / desktop registration server-side. What client action triggers re-registration?

What Should Happen?

Dispatch should connect to my desktop and show “Online.” Main Dispatch thread should respond from both desktop and mobile.

Error Messages/Logs

Phone: “Can’t reach your desktop. Check that your computer is online and desktop app is open.”
Phone status: “Asleep”
Desktop main Dispatch thread: no response to “test,” shows “Read”

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Claude mobile app, go to Dispatch
  2. See “Can’t reach your desktop” error
  3. Confirm desktop app open, computer online and awake
  4. On desktop, type any message in main Dispatch thread
  5. No response, though marked Read

Additional Information

Claude Desktop app’s Cowork/Dispatch feature, not Claude Code CLI. No terminal involved. Issue is the Dispatch desktop-to-mobile relay, stuck server-side. Cowork tasks unaffected. Restart, reopen, toggle, re-login all failed. Requesting server-side Dispatch pairing reset.
