Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Environment: Windows 11, Max plan, Claude Desktop [→ fill from Settings → About], mobile app latest.
Already tried: enabled VirtualMachinePlatform + HypervisorPlatform and rebooted; Keep awake / computer use / browser actions all ON; [add: bridge-state reset, sign-out-in ordering, Dispatch toggle if you do them].
Same class as: #45937, #49545, #54378, #62529, #63179 — main Dispatch relay stuck, no local fix

What Should Happen?

Your settings are correct — Keep awake, notifications, browser actions, computer use all on. The tell is that the offline message appears on the desktop itself, not just mobile. When even the desktop's own main Dispatch thread reports offline, the problem is the conversation's relay session, not your local connectivity or virtualization.
This is a well-documented, recurring bug in the Dispatch preview. The key finding across the reports: it's predominantly server-side, and local fixes usually don't resolve it. Concretely —

One Windows user with confirmed-working virtualization (HvHost running, vmcompute running, banner cleared) still had it fail after deleting bridge state, re-authing, and testing off-VPN.
Another explicitly concluded the bridge-state delete + re-login not helping suggests this is server-side — the main Dispatch conversation's relay/session is broken while individual Cowork tasks keep working. GitHub
Others survived complete uninstall/reinstall of Claude Desktop and the mobile app, plus re-logins on all devices, persisting for weeks. GitHub

Error Messages/Logs

You typed "Hello" in the desktop's own Dispatch thread and it still came back "Desktop appears offline." That specific behavior narrows it down a lot, and not in the direction of your BIOS/virtualization fix. There is no other desktop where I am logged in
