UI: Toolbar icons overlap/crowd in top-left of welcome/stats screen
Resolved 💬 4 comments Opened Jun 7, 2026 by na5845 Closed Jul 14, 2026
Bug
On the welcome / "What's up next" stats screen, the cluster of toolbar icons in the top-left corner are crowded together with too little spacing — they visually collide ("buttons on buttons").
The affected icons appear to be: a list/menu icon, a second icon, a magnifier-with-minus (zoom/search), and back/forward navigation arrows — all packed tightly with no gap between them.
Expected
The toolbar icons should have adequate spacing/padding so they don't overlap.
Environment
- Platform: Windows 11 Pro (build 10.0.22621)
- Surface: Claude Code desktop app (Windows)
- View: welcome / stats screen ("What's up next")
Notes
Screenshot omitted here because the full screen contains personal usage statistics and a username. A cropped image of just the top-left toolbar can be provided on request.
