[BUG] "trial ended" message with active subscription

What's Wrong?

Issue Summary:

"Claude Code shows 'trial ended' despite active Pro annual subscription - authentication sync failure"

Technical Details:

Claude Code version: 2.1.126
Operating system: Mac OS 26.4.1 (25E253)
Account: with active Pro annual plan
Billing status: Confirmed active and paid

Steps Already Tried:

Multiple /logout and /login cycles
Cache clearing (deleted ~/.claude.json and ~/.claude/ directories)
Machine restarts
Verified no ANTHROPIC_API_KEY environment variable
Selected "Claude account with subscription" during authentication
Authentication completes successfully but trial limitation persists

What Should Happen?

Expected vs Actual:

Expected: Claude Code recognizes Pro subscription
Actual: Shows "trial ended" message with upgrade prompts despite successful authentication
