Gift code Max entitlement removed after 2 days

What's Wrong?
I redeemed a Claude gift code via https://claude.ai/gift/redeem on April 21, 2026.
The Max access was activated successfully but downgraded to Basic after ~2 days (April 23, 2026).
Expected: 365-day Max access from gift redemption
Actual: Access reverted to Basic after 2 days
No billing issue or payment failure involved.
This appears to be an entitlement/access control issue.
What Should Happen?
Claude Code should correctly maintain the active Max entitlement after a valid gift code redemption for the full intended duration (365 days).
The user’s access level should remain as Max unless the entitlement expires or is explicitly revoked with proper notification.
Access should not downgrade to Basic within a short period (e.g., 2 days) after successful gift redemption.

Steps to Reproduce
- Go to https://claude.ai/gift/redeem
- Redeem a valid Claude gift code successfully on April 21, 2026
- Confirm that Claude Code shows Max access is active
- Continue using Claude Code normally
- After approximately 2 days (April 23, 2026), observe that the account access is downgraded from Max to Basic
- No user action, billing change, or subscription modification was performed during this period
