Computer-use MCP server not appearing after following all setup steps

Bug Description

After following all documented steps to enable the computer-use MCP server, it does not appear in /mcp or as an available MCP server.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Followed the official computer-use setup documentation
2. Verified Max plan is active via /status - all looks good
3. Restarted Claude Code
4. Cleared cache (rm -rf ~/.cache/claude-code) and restarted
5. Verified plan via /status - confirmed Max plan active
6. Checked changelog for known issues

Computer-use still does not show as an MCP server in /mcp.

Expected Behavior

Computer-use should appear as an available MCP server after completing the setup steps.

Actual Behavior

Computer-use is not listed in /mcp despite all prerequisites being met.

• Claude Code version: 2.1.92
• OS: macOS (Darwin 25.3.0, arm64)
• Plan: Max
