Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Body:
Version: 2.1.91
OS: macOS
Plan: Pro
Auth: claude.ai (first-party, not Bedrock/Vertex)

The computer-use built-in MCP server does not appear in the /mcp
server list, despite meeting all documented requirements:

  • macOS ✓
  • Claude Code v2.1.85+ ✓ (running 2.1.91)
  • Pro plan ✓
  • Authenticated via claude.ai ✓
  • Interactive session ✓

Per the troubleshooting docs at https://code.claude.com/docs/en/computer-use,
all eligibility criteria are met. Expected: computer-use appears in
the /mcp list as disabled. Actual: it does not appear at all.

What Should Happen?

mcp should allow for selection of computer-use option
