What's Wrong?

Bug: computer-use built-in server not appearing in /mcp menu

Environment

  • Claude Code: v2.1.87
  • OS: macOS
  • Plan: Claude Pro
  • Auth: claude.ai account (mitchmarfinetz@gmail.com's Organization)
  • Model: claude-opus-4-6
  • IDE: VS Code extension v2.1.88

Actual behavior
The /mcp menu only shows "User MCPs" and "claude.ai" sections. There is no built-in server section and no computer-use entry anywhere.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Claude Code v2.1.87 on macOS
  2. Authenticate via claude.ai Pro account
  3. Type /mcp
  4. Observe: no built-in server section present

Notes
All documented requirements appear to be met (macOS, Pro plan, v2.1.85+, interactive session, claude.ai auth). This may be a gradual rollout issue, but flagging in case it's a bug affecting a subset of Pro accounts.

What Should Happen?

Expected behavior
A "Built-in servers" section containing computer-use (disabled by default) should appear in the /mcp menu.
