Bug Description
Claude Code for VS Code extension version 2.1.51 fails to start/run entirely.
Steps to Reproduce
- Install Claude Code for VS Code extension version 2.1.51
- Attempt to launch/use the extension
- Extension does not run
Expected Behavior
The extension should start and function normally.
Actual Behavior
The extension fails to launch completely. No functionality is available.
Workaround
Downgrading to a previous version of the extension resolves the issue and allows it to function normally.
Environment
- OS: Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19045
- Extension Version: 2.1.51 (broken), previous version (works)
- IDE: VS Code
