Claude Code for VS Code 2.1.51 fails to launch

Bug Description

Claude Code for VS Code extension version 2.1.51 fails to start/run entirely.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install Claude Code for VS Code extension version 2.1.51
2. Attempt to launch/use the extension
3. Extension does not run

Expected Behavior

The extension should start and function normally.

Actual Behavior

The extension fails to launch completely. No functionality is available.

Workaround

Downgrading to a previous version of the extension resolves the issue and allows it to function normally.

Environment

• OS: Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19045
• Extension Version: 2.1.51 (broken), previous version (works)
• IDE: VS Code
