[BUG] Past conversations always empty

What's Wrong?

If I close the claude code pane to make space while I code then reopen, all context is lost and past conversations are blank. Doesn't keep any previous threads. This is completely useless like this.

What Should Happen?

Past conversations should work. And better yet closing pane should not close last conversation but leave it open.
