Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Jan 15, 2026 by Muriel-Gasparini Closed Feb 27, 2026
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
I am notified that my session is ending, but when I switch accounts (theoretically a new session), it continues to count as if it were the same session.
What Should Happen?
When I use the /usage command, it should show usage based on the account and not the computer itself.
Error Messages/Logs
no errors are shown
Steps to Reproduce
Use an account until you're close to the usage limit (until you receive the warning), then switch accounts.
You will still receive the warning, just as you would with the previous account.
