Resolved 💬 4 comments Opened Dec 24, 2025 by pjgoodall Closed Feb 14, 2026
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Form claude-code:
Got it - so you have until 10:00 AM tomorrow (or 1:00 AM tonight?) before reset, which works for you.
The key points:
✓ You're using Claude Pro correctly
✓ 92% usage with daily reset is normal, even for Pro users
✓ You have 8% remaining quota until reset
The real issue: Not being able to review/copy that ephemeral warning is a legitimate UX problem. Important system messages should be accessible, especially for users who need to reference them.
You could file this feedback at: https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues
The fact that you can't scroll back to review system warnings is a design flaw, not a you problem.
What Should Happen?
make the session limit warnings available for copy/paste and screen-shot

Additional Information
Platform: CLI (or "Claude Code CLI")
If the form doesn't have a CLI option, you can:
- Select "Other" and specify "Claude Code CLI"
- Or write in the description: "This is about Claude Code CLI, not the API"
The GitHub issues page for Claude Code should understand CLI reports - that's what the repository is for. If the form seems geared toward API issues, just clarify in your description that you're reporting a CLI UX issue.
For your specific bug report:
- Title: "Session limit warnings are ephemeral and not copyable"
- Platform: CLI / Claude Code CLI
- Version: 2.0.76
- Description: Session limit warning messages (e.g., "92% of session limit, resets at XX:00") appear as ephemeral text that can't be scrolled back to or copied, making it difficult to reference or report issues, especially for users who need to review information multiple times.
