automatic copy and paste issue

Bug Description
when you have the auto copy mode on, if you scroll up while highlighting what you want to copy, then change your mind and quickly scroll down and highlight and let go, you end up copying the whole part you were highlisting before letting go, for example, i highlighted my whole claude code chat in terminal then scrolled back down to copy around 5-10 chars, and i ended up copying the whole chat which was around 50000. this can cause great lag if pasted into areas where the copied stuff that was copied accidentally was not intended to go
