What were you trying to do?

Connect Claude Code/Claude Desktop to GitHub in order to trial cloud sessions.

What happened instead?

(1) GitHub correctly connects and authenticates. (2) "Continue" redirects back to Claude Code in the Web Browser, which states "Reconnect the Claude GitHub App, The Claude GitHub App needs to be reconnected so Claude can work with your repositories" (3) Selecting "Reconnect GitHub App" correctly opens the authentication process, returning to step (1). This process continues on a loop.

Tried:

• Restarting application
• Logging out and logging in again/authenticating de-authenticating GitHub entirely
• Launching from Firefox browser and from Claude Code desktop app.
