[BUG] macOS Desktop App Thinks Computer is Asleep While Using Desktop

What's Wrong?

I've been using Claude Cowork no problem. Today, all of a sudden, the desktop app says it lost the link to the computer (whatever that means) because the desktop app is on the computer itself. My tasks can no longer be completed because the app can't seem to do anything while it thinks the computer is sleeping. The computer icon at the top of the screen has an orange dot on it. Please help.

What Should Happen?

Claude should be able to perform the tasks and not think the computer is sleeping.

1. Open a project.
2. Open a new cowork chat.
3. Perform a task where the app needs to access files on your computer locally.
