[BUG] Claude Code hanging during reasoning

What's Wrong?

When you send a prompt and Claude is thinking it keeps hanging at random token counts for a few minutes before continuing.

What Should Happen?

Claude should continue thinking like normal, if an issue is happening server side like a capacity issue during thinking it should display it.

none

Steps to Reproduce

1. Send a prompt with thinking on or let Claude spawn a subagent
2. Wait for it to reason and suddenly it will hang

No idea, it has been going on since 6 months or longer iirc.
