Bug Description
My 5hr usage jumped from 0% to 100% within seconds of the usage limit reset. Weekly limit usage jumped from 53% to 67% in the same period of time. Not a single request went through, Claude Code only managed to run ONE small bash script before hitting its limit.

For context:

  1. I had a long running session, with a /goal set
  2. The session got blocked on the 5hr usage limit, at ~50% session context utilization of Fable 5.1
  3. Claude Code said it will auto-continue once the limit is reset
  4. The limit reset
  5. Claude immediately resumed the session, ran a simple bash script
  6. Claude hit the 5hr limit again, immediately as the bash script completed (~5 seconds after it was reset)
  7. Also, the weekly limit usage jumped from 53% to 67% in the same amount of time, losing 14% in seconds.

So in effect, I lost 100% of my 5hr limit and 14% of my Weekly limit on the Max Team plan - in roughly ~5 seconds by running a simple bash script.
