Claude Code CLI blocked — "Your organization has disabled Claude subscription access"

What's Wrong?

Subject: Claude Code CLI blocked — "Your organization has disabled Claude subscription access"

Plan: Claude Pro (active, billing current)

ISSUE
Claude Code in the terminal refuses to run any prompt. It starts up
normally and then returns:

"Your organization has disabled Claude subscription access for
Claude Code · Use an Anthropic API key instead, or ask your admin
to enable access"

At startup it also shows:

"Remote managed settings failed to load (access denied (403)) ·
no remote policy applied"

My account is an individual Pro subscription. The "organization"
is the auto-generated personal one ("tuhna771996@gmail.com's
Organization") — I am the only member, and there is no other admin
I can ask.

WHAT I ALREADY CHECKED

• Settings > Claude Code: only session/appearance options, no toggle

for subscription access.

• Settings > Capabilities: only connector, visuals and code-execution

options, nothing related to Claude Code CLI access.

• claude.ai chat and Cowork both work normally on the same account.

Only the Claude Code CLI is blocked.

• I have NOT run /logout, since other users report that this

escalates the block rather than fixing it.

ENVIRONMENT

• Windows 10 Pro 22H2, build 19045.5965
• Claude Code v2.1.259
• Installed via the official PowerShell installer, then also via

winget (Anthropic.ClaudeCode)

• ANTHROPIC_API_KEY is not set

REQUEST
Please enable Claude subscription access for Claude Code on this
account, or tell me exactly where the setting is if I have missed
it. I would prefer not to pay separately for API usage when I
already have an active Pro subscription.
