[BUG] Unable to cancel subscription

What's Wrong?

After 8 days of being basically completely stuck on the $200 plan (due to #8449), I tried to cancel my plan.

It didn't let me 😅

What Should Happen?

Unsubscription endpoint should give descriptive error and not have the server error out with code 500.

Steps to Reproduce

Fill the form to unsubscribe. Click "Cancel plan". And find that the server returns status code 500.
