Preflight Checklist

  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Environment:

Opening a new terminal in IntelliJ, the Ctrl+Alt+K shortcut no longer adds the current file to the chat context. The shortcut appears unresponsive — no file reference is inserted into the chat input, and no error is shown.

What Should Happen?

Ctrl+Alt+K should add the currently active/open file to the Claude Code chat context regardless. The shortcut's binding to the active Claude Code chat session should persist across these actions.

Additional Information

Reproducible consistently by following the steps above (or intermittent — clarify if it doesn't happen every time).
Workaround (if any): e.g., restarting IntelliJ, restarting the Claude Code plugin session, or reopening the chat panel fixes it temporarily. Mention if this is the case.
