[BUG] Claude Code force-quits when interacting with elements on linked pages (login forms, cookie-consent banners)

What's Wrong?

Clicking a link that Claude Code posted in chat, and then interacting with something on that page (a login form, or even just a cookie-consent banner's "Deny" button), causes the Claude Code app itself to force-quit unexpectedly.
Observed with:

• nexusmods.com (login flow)
• skyrimspecialedition.2game.info (cookie-consent banner "Deny" button, no login involved)

Recovery: opening Task Manager, ending the Claude background process, and waiting for it to relaunch resolves it and resumes the same session.

What Should Happen?

Following a link posted by Claude Code (or interacting with elements like login forms or cookie-consent banners on the resulting page) should not crash or force-quit the Claude Code app. At most, it should behave like a normal browser navigation.

Error Messages/Logs

No error message was shown — the app just closed/force-quit silently, no visible crash dialog or log output was captured at the time.

Steps to Reproduce

1. In a Claude Code chat session, have Claude post a link to an external site (e.g. a Nexus Mods page or a mirror/database site like skyrimspecialedition.2game.info).
2. Click the link to open it (in-app browser).
3. Interact with an element on the resulting page — either a login form, or in one case just a cookie-consent banner's "Deny" button.
4. The Claude Code app force-quits shortly after.

Note: this has happened on two different sites (one involving an actual login flow, one involving only a cookie-consent banner), so it doesn't seem tied specifically to login forms.
